American Sentinel K9, LLC is the oldest and most proven bandog (bandogge) program in existence. The concept of the American Sentinel as a breed began in 1990. H. Lee Robinson, the founder of the American Sentinel Bandog, obtained both a B.S. in Animal Sciences in 1993 and Master’s in Animal Sciences in 1997. During these years, Lee also developed extensive knowledge on working dogs and selective breeding. By using performance testing, health testing, and knowledge in genetics, Lee began pursuing his goal for the American Sentinel Bandog program. Today, American Sentinel K9, LLC has a consistent population (breed) of dogs with the superior attributes needed to excel as family companion guardians as well as formidable hog catch dogs, both of which are well defined as duties attributed to true bandogs. With decades committed to the task of developing the best bandog program in the world, the American Sentinel Bandog program has produced of more working class bandogs than any other program.

Crazy thing is that lucky 7 would kill any other dog in there despite them being bigger. True gamedogs always have better fighting/ working ability.

These dogs are beautiful but they are basically large pitbull. Pitbulls are not good guard dogs. Game bred or not game bred, APBT are very friendly towards humans. Thus, they are not natural home protectors. If they don’t see other humans as a treat, how can they be guard dogs? I’ve seen plenty of pitbulls licking the hands of strangers from the fence. They see other dogs as competitors. But they see humans as a possible food source. They have been bred to be human friendly. It’s in their genetics. So I don’t see how a bandog which is 80% APBT be a good guard dog.

Beautiful dogs, Mr. Robinson has really done a phenomenal job with his program and it shows. I have been following his program online for years, would absolutely love to have one of his dogs. Thanks for the great videos!
