Blue Host Had my dog appreciation website for at least 4 years, and made a really serious mistake. They changed my account from an automatic renewal to manual and never sent me an E-mail. Then they canceled my account and deleted my website complete with the awards the website had received. And they didn’t keep a backup on file. I’ll choose someone else to host my site. This company is terrible.
Hello youtubers, for this video I took at look at bluehost which is a very popular hosting company around the web. They host literally millions of websites for their customers and are considered an industry leader. I have been a customer of theirs for many months so figured I would put together a review for you all. For this bluehost review I took at look at three different criteria: price, customer support and quality of hosting.
I personally think these are the three most important things to look at when picking a hosting company. If a host lacks in any of these areas it can be a complete nightmare for you and end up costing you money in the long run. This is why picking a good host the first time around is of the upmost importance.
When looking at pricing I compared blue host plans to other major hosts. When looking at other hosts bluehost does very well. They are among one of the cheapest hosts online meaning you can host your website at next to nothing. Being able to host your website for less then fifty bucks a year is really an amazing deal. On top of cheap hosting they also have many other packages to meet the needs of all their customers. So whether you need a VPS or more powerful shared hosting you can get it all with bluehost.
Next I looked at their customer support. Reviews of customer support can vary widley but I have found their support to be very knowledgeable and helpful. They have 24/7 support which I think is a must because the last thing you want is for your site to go down and you can’t get any type of support from your hosting company. They also offer multiple channels of support: email, phone and live chat. All in all their support is some of the best so even if you’re not technically savvy you don’t have to worry.
Last but not least I looked at how good their hosting actually is. In the time I have been with bluehost I have not had any issues with down time or slow loading which, of course, is always a plus. Basically, if they had crappy hosting there is no way they could have gotten to where they are today. You don’t get to hosting millions of website with unreliable hosting.
