CI vs LOWLIFE for Aura Stackers? THE DEFINITIVE ANSWER (Aura Stacker: Build Diary #38)

Robert McMaster , Belfast, UK – Utterly Appalling – There version of cpanel is truely awful and badly limited to only the most basic of features. Speed of everything on the shared environment from http, email, ftp and cpanel itself is incredibly slow. When I tried to leave they deliberately ignored support requests to allow the transfer through and had to resort to complaining to both ICANN and Nominet (.com and domains involved). Their support is a total joke. Seriously do not even consider this abortion of a excuse for a host… I wish I knew even worse words to describe this company. On all counts they are awful.

I address the most important question of all time: Is CI or Low-Life better? I go over the answer and why you should not follow Poe.Ninja blindly and how people get baited into choosing CI when it is the wrong choice for the majority of players.

I saw on your TFT you were running Glacial Hammer for 5 way carries, was that real or just a typo? How does it compare.

i feel like the targeted divines from harvest rarely were ever really necessary. the lucky divines for prefix suffixes are extremely good still and i've never used more than 10 or so to perfectly divine (or like 1% off) an item, also they're really ceap

I dont think it's much about the damage but more about the full chaos immunity and thus resulting in a lot of regen (cause of no rf). It is just way safer and still having way more than enough damage.

CI is actually easier to run all your auras and it is easier to have increase aura effect. 15% rmr from the shield is already sufficient to make 50% aura socketed to be 0 mana cost.

Why don't you vaal your max level gems?

I think one thing you are forgetting about for CI is Saqawal's Nest having 10% reduced Mana Reserved. Someone else also mentioned the reduced reservation shields.

I played CI on my necro carrion golem aura stacker. Using Saqawal instead of Shav you gain 10% reduced mana so that’s quite big. Then if you play spark it’s easy to get lots of cheap 1% jewel so I guess it’s doable (I’m making a scion aura stacker spark). When playing golem you need primordial jewel and the 1% ones are super expensive, hard to make it budget. My res are not at 90, they’re around 84/85, but that’s because of all the nerfs. I like CI because not having to care about chaos is great. But great video, if CI doesn’t work for me with spark then I’ll go LL.

Yo Kobe you should try the BV you had before for 5-way runs, since you have the gear for it. BV is just objectively the best for 5-ways(is what other people say, I haven't tried it myself…)

I've been playing CI aura stacker since Delirium league, and I will say that while the damage is lower (not as much as you make it out to be), it's not that difficult to run all your auras. The extra 10% RMR on the chest more than negates the loss of using life for reservation. It also help with gem sockets, as you don't need to use 1 or 2 sockets for arrogance support.

You also say that CI is slightly tankier, which is a quite an understatement. I find that CI will usually have 1.5-2k more ES than lowlife, as well as all the extra regen from not running RF. This is without even mentioning 75% vs 100% chaos resist (which isn't that huge, but it's definitely noticeable).

I think the biggest issue is that you massively underestimate how much a rare shield gives in terms of ES and damage, as well as doubled Avian effect. On a budget (probably less than 200ex), lowlife is easier to gear since it's mostly uniques.

And how good is your +3 Aura chest?

CI, if you can afford it, as it allows more crafted high end rares in the build, but is also waaay more expensive

It’s a mob mentality on Poe ninja.
