What this episodes is about:

Holochain is a distributed digital ledger. Like Blockchain, it allows transactions to be recorded securely without a centralized database. Unlike Blockchain, its design is scalable, without a limitation on the number of transactions that can occur at a time. In this episode, we’re speaking with Arthur Brock, the Chief Architect of Holochain, about how he sees this new technology unlocking our collective intelligence as human beings and leading us to a more egalitarian and sustainable society.

Over and over again… we hear this pitch for the commune style social(ist) application in one fabulous new form or another as being the answer, but never in history has there been an example that has actually really "worked" without destruction or a dictator… It's always "they just didn't do it the right way, or the model just wasn't correct" –Corporations ARE people/humans as a collective… Not cancer. Sure they need governance, but corporations are collective ideas that do good and bad as a necessary part of the ecosystem just as in nature. It's corporations/fossil fuel that lead the way to the average human being in the western world living 30yrs longer since 1920. That simply is, and has been the evolution… It was neither incorrect or correct.. It just is. I will continue holding my HOT for speculative reasons, but I have ZERO interest in the commune token Holofuel 🙂 There's a reason the barter system/economy is tiny… It's not efficient.
