Commercials Review – S4E07

Very Unhappy Customer! Avoid Blue host!!! I’ve been with Blue host too long. Too many problems over the years, a lack of basic service and assistance to address problems they claim to offer help with where other companies will not. What Blue host is special at is directing me to search, the web for addressing any issue they fail to address, which sadly has been every issue I’ve brought to their attention. They offer a multitude of fluff services and their customer service/tech representatives work from home, making the speaking connection poor at times opposed to hard line at an actual company. Far too many complaints to list. Avoid Blue host and invest your money with a company that will actually deliver on what they promise!

MASK had some good one and some weird ones – join me as I look at a few!

The dogs make shooting videos hard.

We like the same commercial, Switchblade, Rhino and Thunder Hawk. Plain and simple, the toys as they came to play with.

Those costumes and the "lifesize vehicles" were amazing and still are. Admit it: We all wanted to see the life-action movie that we thought those excerpts came from 😉

Love Cliff Dagger the 'cartoon character'. He was like an apposite to GIJOEs Bazooka (as in a bad guy). Never came across as the brightest of individuals. But very knowledgeable in his own field.
In 'Video Venom' and in the 'Riches in Rio' episodes he was responsible for rigging up those explosive mines and trip wires. In 'terror on the highway', he was the one who intercepted Satellite information.
I've met a few people in my time who kind of don't seem to be the most socialable of people or seem abit weird… but then reveal a wealth of expertise in an area you would never have dreamed about…
    Good video 👍

Hey guys, I’m not sure if I told this story before, but as a kid growing up in the 80’s. MASK was my toy line of choice. I thought the commercials were the coolest on TV. So much that I wrote a letter to KENNER and asked if I could be in one. A month or two later I got a letter back in the mail along with a small package. The letter unfortunately said that I couldn’t be in the MASK commercials, but the applauded my enthusiasm for the toys, and sent me DYNAMO before it hit the shelves. I was ecstatic. And that’s my coolest MASK story.

Favorites were, like you said, the one with Rhino, Switchblade, etc or the one with Thunderhawk and Slingshot. Loved how they made real life versions of those two toys.

I think I never saw the commercials as a kid, maybe because I discovered MASK on the Dutch: DJ Kat Show that run between 1986 and 1989.
