I wonder how high the national debt can go before we have to default. 40 trillion? 60 trillion? 100 trillion? Oh well.

One time bonuses are nice, but what we really need is real cost of living raises. Here in Florida there is a sharp contrast between the average cost of living and the average pay. This can't go on forever. Who will work in the retail establishments, theme parks and factories when no one can afford to live near the cities or commute? An upside down pyramid will eventually topple. Trickle down economics do not work.

Again, Trump talks about how it would be too expensive to pay for Medicare for all, yet apparently trillions of dollars in tax cuts for the rich are perfectly within the budget.

surely republican voters are aware that the tax cuts have to be paid for, paid for by them, are they still the'elite', are usa consumers aware that they can go on strike, stop purchasing things that are unnecessary, it won't take long before business notices the lack of patronage and their share holders start squealing, you might even get them to fix the basic requirement of pottable water

When, not if this crashes the economy in 1 & 1/2 years from now, this will have an impact on the salaries of Police & Military as well in the long run, mark my words. The GOP thinks that they have this all planned out. They betray everyone, even their own. They will use the Police & the Military as a shield against peaceful protesters, but in the long run if the GOP sees an opportunity to steal money from the Police & Military, the GOP will do exactly that. I would really like to be wrong about that prediction, but I have seen their greed first hand. Nothing is Off Limits to GOP (in their minds). That of course will be a "Turning Point" in American History when even GOP Politicians today will be investigated years from now for what they are doing right now (I say that with a big smile). Of course, the smarter GOP Operatives will leave the country once there's nothing left to steal & the economy is in ruins. In Iceland, the Bankers were put on trial for Financial Crimes a decade ago, so don't think that Trials are out of the question for the GOP. So please GOP yes by all means pass yourselves at least another 20 Tax Cuts for your 1% Worthless Non-Working Class Donors. When the Great Depression of 2020 A.D. hits, people will start asking questions as to why & how, and whom to blame. Then Massive Reform will take place. For the International Bankers that have used the "Lame Empty Threat" of they will further ruin the economy if Reforms are done or if investigations into Wall Street take place, take a look at what happened in Iceland 10 years ago. That is their future. I look forward to the day.Welcome to Iceland, Where Bad Bankers Go to Prison – Bloomberg

Oh, the Greedy Old Pricks are doing everything possible to destroy America in the name of pandering to the wealthy elite. It's like they can't wait for the next Great Depression or Recession and are trying to bring it down upon our heads as fast as possible.

I mean the mega wealthy need this. They are having trouble paying bills and feeding thier kids just the same as plebs. There is a real issue when you can't afford to pay for that 1 million dollar chief to cook your kids the best food. Also when the economy tanks again they will blame Obama and Hilary still plus I bet they will say we need more tax breaks for the wealthy so the economy can pick back up. And we need to raise the plebs taxes because well it's the only way …..

those bonuses for the workers have taxes automatically taken out of them; I'm sure the million dollar bonuses CEO's give themselves either have tax loopholes or are figured for after tax value

This whole story is strangely familiar. Not just this story but the whole story of trump. I can name a few names in history who did many of the same kind of things. Story of Alcibiades and Athens ( Which is hilarious story of stupidity ) and Julius Caeaser ( who overthrew the republic through bribes, threats and ultimately civil wars )

You're always bitching about "Tax Cuts For The Rich." You on the left seem confused by tax cut bills. These bill are not intended to be welfare plans of any kind. They are not intended to help the poor in any way. 45.3% of Americans pay no federal income tax so tax cut bills cannot help them and are not intended to help them. The richest 20% pay an 86.8% share and the next richest pay a 12.9% share of income tax collected. Together the richest 40% pay 99.7%. They are who the tax cut bills are designed to help. The money they don’t have to give to the government they have to spend at the local car dealership, Walmart or wherever the hell they shop. That money helps local economies and is taxed every time it changes hands.

I already DID prove you wrong about Home Depot in the last video you talked about them when you were upset about the founder. You can do research before you make these videos and those uninformed comments. Home Depot gives quarterly bonuses based on how much money the company makes. How well Home Depot did in your region determines how much you get in your quarterly bonus. It’s this thing called profit sharing and I seem to remember you are for companies sharing the profits their workers provide them.

Not to mention the fact that Home Depot’s starting wage in Ohio is $14 an hour and goes up 50 cents every 6 months for your first year and then is merit based each year after that. You get 4 hours paid time off each month on top of 40 hours paid vacation time each year. I don’t know about the other warehouses, but we only have to work 3 or 4 10 hour days a week to get that. Our particular center has been offering overtime since I got hired in almost 6 months ago and for a while was offering an extra $150 tax free on top of your overtime pay if you picked up an extra 10 hour shift and they’d do that for up to 2 of your shifts that week. An extra $300 a week on top of the minimum $420 gross extra each week could give you well over an extra $1000 for that month.

But you didn’t do any research, so fuck Home Depot-it’s a shitty company that doesn’t treat its employees well, is that right, Mike?

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the free meal each month (1 catered meal minimum each month) on the week we do the monthly meeting where we get can get awarded even more money for doing a good job or simply showing up to work each day. I got an extra free 10 hours of pay (untaxed-they pay the taxes so you get the full amount on your check) just for having perfect attendance for a month and getting my name pulled out of a bowl.

Point is-they’re a pretty sweet company to work for, and if I work 60-70 hours a week there, I can save over $2000 a month of what I make. And since we get a minimum of 80 minutes of breaks spread out thru each day, I’m not even working the fully 10 hours. Hell, I’ve never gone more than 3 hours without a 20 minute paid break while working there.

Well, they may make it if the people do not vote. Watch this, https://youtu.be/iphKlXj-kyE . If you really want to increase the real economy, give us Single Payer. This is the biggest shot in the arm for the large and small business owners and gives us a healthy work force. People will get health care for their families and the cost of health care will plummet. Once the monetization of health care is removed, the sick seek help when they are curable, and the actual cost will plummet.
