How to install Magento 1.9 on cPanel control panel

In this video you will learn how to download and install Magento 1.9 from www.magento.com usign a cPanel control panel provided by http://www.sharkol.com (optimized for Magento you can tell by the speed in the video its all online not local).

Please note: I forgot to mention to use mod_rewrite for apache servers! So don’t forget to check that box when going through the install process if you have it enabled so you can have nice and pretty, SEO friendly urls!

    Hi Aldin-I am new to this but you make it look and sound easy!  I am currently running v1.7 and would like to upgrade to 1.9.  I have a few extensions (recaptcha and webtex wedding registry), and I assume I would need to re-install or configure after the upgrade?

    i upload magneto and then extract and when i enter URL browser then a white background page is open, with some text and here is a check box and continue button, we i tick the check box and click continue button nothing happen. Please tell me whats the problem.

    I have created the DB as per the steps provided in video but when i click on next it says "Sorry, but we support MySQL version 5.6.0 or later." not sure if I have missed out anything? I am using godaddy
