WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE – Honestly they are terrible. STAY AWAY. Spent hours on the phone with just one simple question.. Where is my multi domain SSL that i paid $80 for.. No response kept getting shoved off to the next person. Wasn’t allowed to speak with supervisor. I said I will hold as long as i needed to speak with someone. Told me it would be today. Seriously STAY AWAY. Not happy with this company.

If you’re wanting to build a website or start a blog using WordPress. The first thing you’ll need to do is install WordPress onto a domain name and web hosting.
There are a bunch of different hosting companies out there. Some of them are good, and some of them are terrible…
Personally, I’d recommend using Hostgator.com, which is the hosting company I’ve been using for over 8 years now without any issues (for letsbuildwp.com).
So in this tutorial, I will cover everything from registering a domain name and hosting with Hostgator, to actually installing WordPress (using the built-in cPanel) and logging in to our new WordPress site.
And I’ll also show you how to get your first month’s hosting with HostGator for only 1 penny!
