How To Move A WordPress Website To A New Web Host Or New Domain Name – Easy Way To Migrate

#bluehost — Unscrupulous and Deceitful people. Tried to bill my credit card for a service I did not subscribe to, without my authorization, and without my knowledge. Threatened to interrupt my web-based business. Billing department is unfriendly. Intolerable behaviour from a service provider. Moving my domain today. Recommend that potential customers be highly suspicious of #bluehost.

Thanks a lot, I just moved my wordpress without a problem, I had used another youtube tutorial that also seemed very good but at the end he just said "oh you might also need to change permissions if it doesn't work" which was my problem but I couldn't figure out how.

Hi, I'm having trouble with migrating website. Used the tool you suggested, followed the steps, remove the limits but still facing this issue when exporting: "Unable to export
    Out of disk space."

Any ideas? Been cranking for hours here…

Now I'm terrified. I'm importing the saved file to the new site, but I never realized it would delete the old site. I wanted to duplicate the content, not delete it from one and install it on another. I may have just lost 10 years of work.

Awesome video. Thanks a lot for the explicit tutorial. I've been struggling with switching from local to online server for a while and you just happened to help me get it done. Looking forward to more videos like this.

Very concise helpful video. I purchased a new domain name with my host (hostgator) so that I could take my time developing a new site for by business and not affect my current site. Now I want to migrate the new site to my old domain (also with hostgator) is there any reason why the process you describe in this video wouldn't work for that?

Thanks for the tip Adam. It worked just the way you explained. It took me a while to work out how to use the example.com sub-domain in the new hosting. All the links worked as before, just brilliant !!

I have a question. Can I use this to transfer my site from a subfolder to the root? Will it also take care the the links like those of the src's?

Thank you very much for the great video. I am usually migrating my clients websites manually and for some cases (when I don't have an access to their servers) I used the Duplicator plugin in the past. However I had some issues with Duplicator and I was looking for some new WP migrating plugin alternatives . After watching your video I decided to try the AIP. Basically, I will replace my clients active website with my new design and I am not going to be able to have a server access. You covered everything in your video but I kindly would ask you if you have any further advice or tip before I move on with the process. Looking forward for your future videos.

I have a site I built locally on flywheel using generatepress premium and elementor free. After migrating to hosting with all in one I am unable to modify and save the site at new host using elementor. When I save using elementor it never saves and takes forever to get to 98% and then hangs up. Pulling my hair out trying to figure out why.

I need help figuring out how to fix and really appreciate any help.
