29 Jul How to Set Custom 404 Error Page in HostGator?
Throw your money down the drain instead – I set up a .com domain and hosting – they took my money, and I spent days importing WordPress and setting it up. Then 10 days later, the whole thing disappeared. Attempts to reach #hostgator were useless. After no response, I cancelled everything within the month, and – after reading these and other reviews – cancelled my credit card as a precaution. Johnny Nguyen, Queensland, Australia

Posted at 16:53h, 07 AprilIt should also be noted, that .htaccess might be empty. So when it loads into the editor, it will be a blank screen. You then need to click into the main area of the page and type in the line of code shown in the video.
ErrorDocument 404 /your404page.html
Then click the save changes button.
