Log in to your cPanel, scroll down, and click ‘Redirects’.
In this example, I want to redirect
“internetmarketingstartpage.com” to the
abbreviated version: “IMstartpage.com”.
For Type, you can choose between a Permanent
(301) redirection, or a Temporary redirection
A permanent (301) redirection is often best, so
don’t change the default. For more information
redirection types, see the description.
Click this drop-down menu, and select the domain you want to redirect.
Click the textbox labeled “redirects to →”, and enter the URL you want to redirect to. Make sure to include the ‘http://’.
Select whether you want to redirect only www., with or without www, or only without www.
In most cases, you’ll want to redirect both.
Check the “Wild Card Redirect” option if you want to redirect to the new domain with the rest of the URL intact.
This means that it’ll also redirect all subfolders to the subfolders on the new site. For instance, from “oldsite.com/blog” to “newsite.com/blog”.
When you’re done, click ‘Add’.
Done! Your redirection has been added.
