Does this add a delay to working with your web app ? as traffic must first go to your domain godaddy then to google using the zone file?

    Hello Arkit Sir,
I just want to ask that if my application(project) is already deployed on GAE & if I mapped custom domain for that application then do I need to re-deploy my application again on GAE?
(I have already one application(project) on GAE & recently I mapped custom domain for that application. The settings of my applications shows that the domain successfully mapped but when I access my application using custom domain the browser shows the error that"The site can't be reach". So want to ask you that do I need to re-deploy my application again to working with custom domain?)
Please reply asap. Its an urgent. Really get's frustrated due to this problem.
    Thank You.

Using the domain as the host is not correct. You're editing the values for that domain, so it already knows what domain it is….You're supposed to use "ghs.googlehosted.com" for the host value for people wondering why they get an error.

Hello I have seen in the process that you first verify with google apps (now called g suite), but this has a cost based on how many users, I have a GAE app up and running, do I have to do these steps of verifying through google apps before I add a custom domain, because I have no intention to use google apps, can you please explain a little, I'm also going to use goDaddy
