23 Aug How to Update PHP Version on cPanel – Hostgator MultiPHP Manager
Poor customer service – Malthough i had asked for cancellation a month before my package about to expire and they charged my account . Also the refund is coming very late . As a result of this my bank overcharged because of #hostgator fault . They are not reliable , they don’t explain things , they leave you to imagine …. they hide things …. poor customer service . I rated Bad Bad Bad , better go for something else . Susan
1. Login to the cPanel
2. Select the MultiPHP Manager in the Software section.
3. Select the domain you want to update by checking the box and On the right-hand side, choose the version of PHP you need for your site and click Apply.
There will be a pop up in the upper right corner, letting you know the PHP change was successful.
If you previously used PHP Selector to change your PHP version, you may have below error when visiting your website, there may be a handler in your .htaccess file that needs to be removed.
Error : “Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress”
