iPage Hosting Review 2015

Beware of hidden charges, auto renewals, using expired cards. – The second review I read explained my problem so I decided to use the same title as the original reviewer. I am sure there are others. I signed up for #Ipage and when they sent me a bill for $286 to renew I went on their webpage and cancelled my subscription. Lo and behold they charged me for the renewal anyway. They somehow took the payment even though the credit card they had on file had expired. I called #Ipage demanding my money back. (if you select the dispute function you will be on perpetual hold so I called back and selected the upgrade services option – I got a customer service rep in less than 1 minute). They even admitted that they made a mistake but my refund will take up to 2 weeks. I told them this was unacceptable. It was in pending status so I had to call my bank. Now I have to cancel that card, get a new one, change my direct deposit info, inform my creditors of my new card number, etc. Too much hassle. #Ipage shame on you! That is stealing people’s money!
