Jeremy Corbyn Puts Trump in His Place Over Ignorant Healthcare Tweet

Foreign company disguised as a legitimate hosting company more like an intrusive spying operation. – This is by far the worst experience of my life. After 5 years with this company. I finally realized that every few months they would crash my websites with some reason or another and demand an upsell too fix the problem. Customer support tries and the admin department is where the real problem lies. Management sucks even worse and if you value your business stay away and buy your own server. KELLY JIMINEZ

President Trump tweeted about protests in the United Kingdom over their National Health System (NHS) and ended up angering Brits like Jeremy Corbyn. Why? He incorrectly implied protesters were marching against Great Britain’s NHS, but in actuality, they were marching because they love their universal healthcare system and want Conservatives to stop sabotaging it.

Well I hope they get what they what and don't end up with health care like U.S. It's awful over here. In one year my health care payments doubled

Theresa May is such a snake, I can't stand her. The Tories are flushing this country down the toilet. If Labour don't win the next election, the NHS is doomed.

Another example of the host is wrong and Pres. Trump being right. Look at UK spending, it's debt. UK is already spending more than what they take in their health care and thus, that is the reason thier healthcare is going backrupt.

What should be noted here is how the NHS is being defunded, and by whom. Simon Stevens, a lobbyist from United Healthcare is now head of NHS England. Through ongoing negotiations for TTIP between US and EU (which is also the main spark that helped to fuel Brexit), have been trying to find ways of breaking up EU national health plans in order to open the way for US healthcare companies to gain a foothold in Europe. The most telling is the Naylor Report which came out in 2017, that provides the strategy to defund the NHS by refusing funds for upgrades and replacement to equipment, unless they are willing to sell off assets to private organizations. They are in a sense offering a carrot and stick strategy, the carrot is to use NHS funds to match the receipts from such sales which only further exacerbates the NHS funding problems. Theresa May, in support of the Naylor Report provided additional funds to the NHS in order to implement this. Of course, she says it's to fund the NHS, but she is quite quick to change the subject when PFI's (Private Finance Initiatives) or the Naylor Report comes into question.

If for what ever reason you are unwilling to actually read the Naylor Report that i had cited, let me break down some of it's key elements for you:
~ making a £325 million capital investment to develop local STP's (Sustainability and transformation plans.
~ developing an incentive scheme to guarantee that proceeds of sales are available for reinvestment.
~ This report therefore calls for the NHS, through the STP process to develop robust capital plans which are aligned with clinical strategies to maximize value for money including land sales.
~ There is no traditional business case to justify investment in backlog maintenance. In essence, it represents historical under- investment and the failure to fully commit capital allocations.
~ At a minimum, the Department of Health (DH) and HM Treasury (HMT) should provide robust assurances to STP's that any sales receipts from locally owned assets will not be recovered centrally provided in in agreement with STP plans. *This report recommends that HMT provide additional funding to incentives land disposals through a "2 for 1 offer" in which public funds match disposal receipts.

Trump is trying to turn other countries health care to be like that of Trumpland the land once known as America.
Why – this will give him the chance to say SEE TOLD YOU SO – the world see he is the best leader in the world and other countries are following him. (god help us if our government is that greedy)

But trump is out to make money for himself – Trumpland is his fun park that all loves him – but sadly trump does not get it – that countries have to spend money on the poor to help them – just as giving help to the rich. Trump thinks it is give to the rich is his way of running a country – the lower people are their to make him richer. He does not see that the lower income people have any rights to anything at all. The can die if they can not pay over in flatted prices for basics things in life.

TRUMP HAS FOR GOTTEN THAT THE MONEY HIS FATHER GAVE HIM WAS FROM THE POOR PEOPLE – but we it all done above board?? Or we it done by breaking the law??

I have been a tory supporter for many many years plus i work for the nhs .
Year on year the NHS has gone down hill and May is talking crap saying its due to winter blah blah blah.
Its not due to winter its due to underfunding.
These bastards are messing with peoples lives for money.
Why send it to foreign aid when we need it ?
May has fucked up the tory party and needs to go.
I will be voting labour as maybe they lend the money and spend it on services like nhs but at least lives are saved.
Under this tory goverment waiting times in A&E 10 hours standard.
    Ambulances being diverted.
    Ambulances not turning up.
People lying on floors as no beds.
    Its disgusting.
And May and gang say they are better prepared than ever ???
May cant organise shit never mind run a country.
They are holding health to ranson.
To hell with may and hunt.
May she one day die waiting for a amblance only then will she realise that lives matter.

Unfortunately the Tories have succeed pretty well already to underfund and privatize it. They did an act called Health and Social Care Act 2012 which pretty much put all of the NHS Service out to tender. So every part of it can be privatized and is. So the private companies are picking up the easy cases and easy services whilst NHS gets stuck with the really critical cases. As another means of making it look bad (they focus of attack been worse outcome when in fact it was skewered stats because the main people dying in hospital are elderly). Tragically though the NHS is bit of a zombie and got fucked by Market place and PFI debt (Labour brought that in when run by Blair and New Labour). The only reason Tories keep saying openly they support it is because it such an unpopular position not to. Still plenty of Tories and libertarian and right wing think tanks and political agents and groups active in UK. Especially backed by American Right busily working to change attitudes. Some do so openly. It is also believed that in the Brexit talks Tories will do a healthcare deal with the USA.

They've already halfway privatised. I've spoken to doctors over here about it. The Labour Party pre-Corbyn were ineffectual and let it happen. Very similar to corporate dems.

What makes me sick is that many Americans want to keep this private health care system because they don't want their tax dollars to pay for a stranger's health care, and they seem to think that it will make people lazy and just get free money by not working.

  • Teenkitsune
    Posted at 18:17h, 10 February

Republicans have no room to talk about how this would ruin the economy when they themselves and the rest of the baby boomers ruined the economy decades ago and left that debt to us millenials. The fact of the matter is they just don't want this because they don't know the difference between socialism and communism and won't let the damn Cold War go.

  • Teenkitsune
    Posted at 18:25h, 10 February

Of course Trump probably knows what's really going on, but by turning Americans against the media and making himself their only source of information he can mislead and manipulate them into believing that the republican plans are good for them and they believe it while they get fucked blind.

  • Thomas Ridley
    Posted at 20:57h, 10 February

Privatization just means that billions will be stolen from the health care system to make 3 or 4 people richer than they already are.

  • PlayerSkillFTW

5:23 Lmfao. The Republicans have 70 Billion dollars for their lobbyist friends from Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Ratheon, etc, yet they don't have 21 Billion for the veterans that come back broken from the endless wars that Republicans push for. It's just like Major General Smedley D. Butler said, "War is a Racket".

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.

A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small "inside" group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes.

In the World War [I] a mere handful garnered the profits of the conflict. At least 21,000 new millionaires and billionaires were made in the United States during the World War. That many admitted their huge blood gains in their income tax returns. How many other war millionaires falsified their tax returns no one knows.

How many of these war millionaires shouldered a rifle? How many of them dug a trench? How many of them knew what it meant to go hungry in a rat-infested dug-out? How many of them spent sleepless, frightened nights, ducking shells and shrapnel and machine gun bullets? How many of them parried a bayonet thrust of an enemy? How many of them were wounded or killed in battle?

Out of war nations acquire additional territory, if they are victorious. They just take it. This newly acquired territory promptly is exploited by the few — the selfsame few who wrung dollars out of blood in the war. The general public shoulders the bill.

    And what is this bill?

This bill renders a horrible accounting. Newly placed gravestones. Mangled bodies. Shattered minds. Broken hearts and homes. Economic instability. Depression and all its attendant miseries. Back-breaking taxation for generations and generations."
