In an interview with Rep. Joe Kennedy, MSNBC’s Joy Ann Reid kept asking Joe Kennedy if he’d run for president in 2020. To even float the idea that him running is a good thing is problematic seeing that Joe Kennedy—aka ‘Big Pharma Joe’—is one of the most out of touch, corrupt, conservative Democrats in Congress. In this segment we’ll explain why Joe Kennedy should never run for president, ever.

Even Joe Biden on a debate stage would come in second to Bernie. Bernie has and always will hammer policy. Policy that the public wholeheartedly supports. That is the winning strategy. Joe will try to sound progressive, but he will be hamstrung because of his corporate donors and the favours he would be required to return should he be elected. Money will always be the albatross around  the neck of a politician.

I think Joe Kennedy rather have a seat in the senate than running for president. Just like Ted Kennedy, you can stay around much longer. You can only be president once and then it is over.

bernie should win but the DNC can pretend he will lose the next primary with impunity.
    Watch the shenanigans starting already…
an organized green party could field a candidate for every contested position.
The Green-Progressives should hold primaries to field a single progressive candidate right after the democratic primary,
and we would soon see DNC double standards.

The establishment continues to desperately parade ANYONE but Bernie Sanders in front of their audiences.
Sanders is clearly the most popular politician in America, and yet every establishment "liberal" media outlet completely ignores him in favor of whatever the latest flavor of the month democrat pops up on the radar.
Nobody except hardcore political watchdogs knew who Kamala Harris or Joe Kennedy were until recently, and yet anyone associated with establishment democrats keep throwing up anyone in the hopes that people will forget about Sanders.

Mike, Joy Ann supports the same policies as Joey K so if she googled him she would like him more not less. This is not a problem of a lack of knowledge, Joy Ann Reid is a literally a tool of the establishment. She is a moderate pro corporate conservative, that is just who she is she is not going to see the light some day and start being for the people.

I think the more corporate dems that run the better. Progressives and independents will still vote Sanders and the foolish people who vote for corporate dems will be split among multiple candidates instead of just one candidate, like Clinton, in 2016. More the merrier.

If, as a politician, you don't have a plan that allows me to break free of this private insurance scam, you are not getting my vote. It really is "anybody but a true progressive" with the Democratic establishment because they really only care about money and the warm fuzzy feeling they get by not being anti-LGBTQ or anti-immigrant. Excuse me for not being impressed that you've reached the baseline of a decent human being. Come back with policies that actually help the people you claim to defend.

I'm particularly pissed today because I read an NBC News article about 2018 primaries and there was no mention of progressives like Alison Hartson (CA), Tim Canova (FL), or Ami Vilela (NV). So the plan is obviously to keep ignoring us.

America (and by extension the world) is screwed because there are too few of you with a brain who can see this obvious crap. You have a one party system that is so broken I personally don't think it can ever be fixed unless it's torn down to the bare bones and rebuilt. You have a system full of right wingers and nut jobs. Sorry guys but America in it's present form is a clear and present danger to the whole world and you have absolutely no one to save you unless you ALL get involved and too many love their iphones and the kardashian's too much to ever give a shit. I don't hold the rest of the world above you either, everywhere else it's a similar story, same shit, different pile.
