03 Nov Making a change from Git to Bluehost + Bluehost to Git
I do not recommend. I had a very bad experience with #bluehost. Very nice environment and nice support, but if you have a bit more traffic or database activity, they will kick you out as they did it with me. Does not matter if you are “green” in all meters they are presenting you in the control panel. I was forced to migrate my website after get the “get out” message and it took me more than a week to put my website back online.
At this point, we have been through the setup of how to connect Bluehost to your private Github repository and in addition we set up ssh to enable us to talk back and forth from our Bluehost server to Git. Let’s connect the dots and follow along with this quick example of how we can make changes locally on git and push them to Bluehost and then make a change on our server on Bluehost and pull them back down to our local private git repository. It’s quick and painless!

💁🏾♀️ Who Am I:
Greetings, my name is Tiffany! I have been a Software Engineer since 2017. I have mostly focused on backend engineering specifically using PHP/Laravel and MySQL. I enjoy the journey of learning, contributing to making a better product and working with a great team.
I first learned about code back in 2009 but didn’t really understand the entire tech field at the time. Later on, I decided to join a coding bootcamp called Coding Dojo, to improve my tech skills – It definitely was the best decision for me! It was a long journey and I started documenting my journey via youtube.
