Welcome to the vlog, where I cook a gorgeous meatball (kofta) biryani over the weekend.

Meatball (Kofta) Biryani Ingredients
For the meatballs:
800g Mince (I used lamb mince)
1 small onion
2 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon ginger
1 green chilli
1 tomato
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
2 teaspoons ground cumin (jeera)
2 medium eggs
Half cup gram flour

Bake for 25 mins at 180C fan assisted (200C not fan)

For the curry:
1 kg potatoes
3 tomatoes
2 medium onions
1 green chilli
3 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon ginger
Half cup sunflower oil
1 cup yoghurt (I used low fat natural)

Spices for curry:
1 tablespoon salt
3 bay leaves
1 cinnamon stick
1 star anise
1 teaspoon ground turmeric (haldi)
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon coriander powder (dhaniya)
1 teaspoon ground cumin (jeera)
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
4 whole black peppers
3 cardamom pods
3 cloves

I used 650g basmati rice

    Oh my sister shamsa. Never thought about cooking kebob pillau! I ll surely make this one day. Btw I love your accent. I am told I have the British accent too. I was brought up in Dubai and studied in st Mary's catholic high school. Most of my teachers were from England. And I so love your marvelous ( with the British accent ) sense of humor !
