Netflix Dark 1×8 | As You Sow, So Shall You Reap | REACTION! Season 1 Episode 8 ULRICH NOO!

Very Unhappy Customer! Avoid Blue host!!! I’ve been with Blue host too long. Too many problems over the years, a lack of basic service and assistance to address problems they claim to offer help with where other companies will not. What Blue host is special at is directing me to search, the web for addressing any issue they fail to address, which sadly has been every issue I’ve brought to their attention. They offer a multitude of fluff services and their customer service/tech representatives work from home, making the speaking connection poor at times opposed to hard line at an actual company. Far too many complaints to list. Avoid Blue host and invest your money with a company that will actually deliver on what they promise!

This is our REACTION to Dark 1×8! Wow wow wow! This show is incredible at building tension but Ulrich, WTF were you thinking?! Was he always predetermined to do this? What did you guys think? Make sure to LIKE COMMENT and SUBSCRIBE! Full watch along on Patreon! Thanks for the support!

You're talking about someone "has he interfere in time?", for example about Ulrich. If it's the loop – you can't interfere and change anything. In this case Ulrich always did talk to his grandmother Agnes. He always has brought book to adult Tannhaus. He always has beaten little Helge with a rock. Every time you think someone interferes, it's not. It's what always happened again and again. With no beginning or ending. It makes free will impossible. Every action is predetermined. To put it simply – trying to change something in the time loop is part of the loop.

Still watching but I just wanted to say before I forget to comment (for support): Another great reaction. I love the long discussions at the end.

I know you're a bit ahead in viewing (and I'm probably being too cautious here), but I'll say wait until after you've seen 1×10 to do the following:

Re-watch the scenes where Ulrich confronts old Helge in 1×7 in the nursing home, and where Ulrich confronts young Helge about his dead birds in 1×8. Pay special attention to the dialogue. 😉

Einstein-Rosen bridge is just the name of the theory. Not an actual name for the portal in the cave.

38:07 Don't you remember address Agnes asking for Ulrich is that of the Ulrich's house? He answers "That's where i live". So in 1953 house belonged to Tiedemanns (Egon and Doris). In 2019 the house belongs to Nielsens. Now Agnes Nielsen with son Tronte comes to live in Tiedemann house in 1953. We can assume, that sometime between 1953 and 2019 ownership of the house transfers from Tiedemann's to Nielsen's. We already saw Nielsens (Jana, Tronte, Ulrich) living in this house in 1986 in episode 3, where Egon as a policeman pays visit to Ulrich about little boy that showed up at his station. This narrows transfer of ownersihip from Tiedemanns to Nielsens even more – down to 1953-1986. The house that becomes a hotel is where Helge and his parents live. It's wayyy bigger than Tiedemann's house (in 1953). So that particular house (or villa to be more exact) changes ownership from Dopplers (Bernd, Greta and son Helge) to Tiedemanns (Regina, Alexander), who use it as a hotel.

Y'all are the MOST perceptive Dark reactors lol. Can't wait to see the rest of your reactions!

44:03 How can the bridge not be there (in 1953) if Ulrich arrived through it? It's there. The same way Jonas came back from 1986 to 2019, the same way Ulrich theoretically could come back from 1953. So yes, the electromagnetic field emits from the cave, just like it did in 2019 and 1986.
Edit: You later realised that by yourselves 🙂
45:37 The nuclear accident happened in 1986, and it created wormholes to 2019 and 1953 – to the future and to the past. So no nuclear part is required in 1953. Even if there were no power plant in 2019, time travel though the cave would be still possible.

22:10 Is it two different time machines of the same model, or is it the same actual time machine at it's beginning and it's later state?

The triquetra is not on Tannhaus's book, it's the book that Noah has that has it and the book Tronte and Peter have since it is literally the same book. It's funny how Ulrich hitting Helge with the rock is meant to show that everything that Ulrich is doing has already happened since we have already seen Helge's scar, but somehow it has made you think the opposite – that he may have changed things

Only just realised Ulrich says to young helge to bite them if they are stronger…. which is exactly what he does when Ulrich attacks him. Plus remember what helge said to ulrich last ep 'ITS YOU!, I CAN CHANGE THE PAST I CAN CHANGE THE FUTURE!'

If you go back and watch episode 7, at the hospital scene Helge says "It was you" when confronted by Ulrich. Didn't realize this at first but when I watched it again I was blown away. This show is so damn good!

Man your discussions after the reaction are always so damn good and fun. The initial "wow" and/or "wtf" and then proceeding to brainstorming.

7:18 This symbol is the Ouroboros, and yes a lot of symbolism in this: the end and the beginning, the perpetual return, symbol of hope and renew, but also self-destruction.

Using red color for correcting mistakes is a common thing in schools (or at least it was) in some European countries. My homeworks and classworks were also corrected this way (I'm from Poland).

10:41 Last time I pointed out that we saw Helge drag Erik's body through the woods in episode 2 and we saw Noah's back while he was sweeping the bunker floor in episode 4. As I said both episodes 2 and 3 depict Nov 5th 2019 and 1986 respectively but those two scenes are actually from 1953. So the third time plane was already introduced in episode 2. Actually it is introduced before we even see Mikkel emerge from the cave in 1986.
