Derek Kong , Miami, FL – Support ? What support! It does not exist. Wait time 30 minuter. – This hosting company is a subsidiary of BlueHost and I wonder if their service is as bad as #Justhost?

Join us as we pay tribute to the rich ancestry and traditions of Native Americans during November’s Native American Heritage Month. In this conversation, Frankie Orona, Executive Director of the Society of Native Nations, and UTSA’s COEHD Assistant Professor Dr. Marissa Muñoz will offer some historical context for the Native peoples of Texas as the basis for understanding how UTSA can better serve San Antonio’s urban Native population. Various suggestions include respectful land acknowledgments, outreach to Native students, cultivation of community on campus, and purposefully shifting research agendas toward research with Native partners.

Speakers:
Frankie Orona, Executive Director, Society of Native Nations
