Not a fan of Ben Cardin, but I was actually happy Manning lost. I didn't like her anti-free speech stance, and her attempt at suicide just before the primary tells me that Manning is not fit to serve at the moment. And calling Dylan Ratigan a Progressive is a joke. He's a centrist through and through. So glad he lost big time.

The Ocasio-Cortez victory was a huge morale boost for me. It is the first victory of a campaign that I've donated to since Bernie's primary victory in MN. Some of the hardest losses have been Canova 2016, Grayson 2016, Vilela, Hartson, and Swearengin. Every Progressive we get into office is a step closer to ending the political corruption that, despite overwhelming unpopularity, clings to power though tactics of division and tribalism. When we can finally have honest discussions about the role government can have in reducing the struggles of life, more will join us is our pursuit. There are forces that are actively scheming to make it harder to obtain affordable housing, health care, education and the list goes on. They are winning now but they can and must be stopped. We cannot rely on a handful of honest actors to get us there, it can only be done through our collective power.

Now lets use that collective power to get Cori Bush into Congress alongside Ocasio-Cortez. Our small dollar donations will add up and make a difference. I just sent mine.

In this entire primary season, non incumbent DCCC backed candidates have only been defeated twice, while only one incumbent DCCC backed candidate has been defeated. The Democratic party is not being taken over by progressives. We need a viable third party.

Yes. And it is doubly significant that this happened for the Mid-Terms. Usually people blow off the Mid-Terms and many don't bother to vote at all. For some reason, the impression is that the Mid-Terms aren't as important as the General Elections. Really good to know that America is beginning to wake up and get in the game. The more skin we put in the game, the better our chances are of taking over the country and bringing the real America back for all. And a special thanks to Chelsea Manning. She has given so much to her country that it is mind boggling. The very fact that she would put herself out on the front line again is a very humbling experience to witness in view of her personal sacrifices for us already on the record. The very best thing she can do for us now is to take EXTRA good care of herself so she can be with us in the coming years to watch America re-bloom into the flower of beauty it once was. Take care and go well, Chelsea Manning. Remember, you belong to all of us; even us straights. With love and respect, hugs.

The results of a protest vote …..
Hypothetical scenario ….Suppose that the progressives have
everything going for them in a coming election, and elect a
Progressive president and control both houses of congress.   Then the
progressives put forth programs they really like ….. the
Republicans contest these programs to the nut case far right Supreme
Court …. guess what the outcome would be?

If Chelsea as having problems of depression and thinkin of harming herself because she lost, then it's a good thing she didn't win. These issues would have come up at some point and would have been bad for the LBGTQ community. I hope she gets the help she needs and heals. She's been through so much and been so ill-treated. She deserves a good life.

Too bad Jimmy Dore thinks these wins aren't really that big and that they don't mean much. Apparently, he thinks that if the candidates who lost would have waited and run in the general elections in a 3rd party, they would have won.

Poor Chelsea 🙁 she suffered enough to defend her principles and the princiles of her country just so she can loose a race against an establishment candidate, abseloutly shame on the voters.

I voted for Ben Jealous and Chelsea Manning and though I’m sad Manning didn’t pull through, I’m extremely happy that Jealous won and showed that my state is moving to progressive values and not selling out to the corporates.

I feel like if the mainstream media had actually reported on what happened between Levi Tilleman and Steny Hoyer, Levi would’ve won. Who wouldn’t listen to that recording and go, “What the actual fuck is this shit”?

Then again, mainstream media don’t cover progressive candidates *period*, let alone those who recorded the overt bullying they experienced.

Just imagine how many more progressive candidates would’ve won if our mainstream media weren’t biased in favor of the establishment and therefore worthless.
