Propaganda Against Progressive Policy Priorities | Episode 160 (September 20, 2018)

Rippers and don’t care about hacks or anything. – Got my sites hacked multiple times and they dont respond at all. They removed email support and so you need to connect with them in chat for 2-3 hours and there is no guarantee. If your site is hacked due to their poor server, you need to commit for extra monthly subscriptions. Terrible Company!

In this episode we’ll focus on two main subjects: the mainstream media’s gaslighting of Americans and the Republican Party’s ongoing descent into madness. With that being said, we’ll talk about Jake Tapper’s concern trolling over the cost of Medicare for All, and the Washington Post’s mind-numbingly stupid attack on Bernie Sanders’ ‘Stop BEZOS Act’ as well as an update to the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation process, Trump’s grotesque lie about Puerto Rico, John Bolton’s threats to the International Criminal Court, Ted Cruz’s new scam, Blaire White’s exposé on right-wing political commentators, Ajit Pai’s attack on California’s net neutrality bill, Bill Maher’s advice for Democrats, and more. Enjoy!

Dear Jake Tapper listen to me slowly — The U.S. FEDERAL government "pays for it" (Medicare-for-All) the same way the CONGRESS paid for the $700-billion defense authorization program—congress VOTED that economic policy/funds into existence–and WITHOUT raising a single dime in new federal taxes. Federal taxes DO NOT fund spending at the federal level. It never has and it never will. You've never heard that we need to increase federal taxes in order fund our military budget. It passes every year no matter what. Why is that you say? It's Because the U.S. dollar is a sovereign currency. The definition of sovereign is: "unlimited, unrestricted and boundless." Still not convinced that federal taxes DO NOT fund spending? Riddle me this. During the Great Depression when people had little or no money, let alone any money to pay TAXES with, how did the U.S. federal government pay for the spending work programs, like the highways, bridges and dams, which it needed to get the economy working again? We were able to pay for it, because the U.S. federal government the sole issuer and copyright holder of the U.S. dollar. It is the U.S. federal government who is the exclusive patent holder of the U.S. dollar. On a FEDERAL level, the U.S. can never go broke. It never has. Think about it further, even when Wall Street and the banks crashed the the economy in 2008 , the U.S. federal government (and its congress) had the ultimate authority to step in and mint and create the funds to bail them out. Unlike household debt or individual state governments budgets, or banks or Wall Street, which CANNOT mint its own money (that would be counterfeiting), the U.S. federal government IS NOT restricted to amount of funds it can mint, because the U.S. federal government is the sole copyright holder of the U.S. dollar. When you own the copyright to something you are allowed–by law–to create as much of thing as you want, as long as you have the resources available to you to do it. Until working class voters understand even a modicum of MMT, the way the 1% uses it for themselves with tax cuts for the rich, We the people will not be able to have Medicare-for-all. If we don't learn it, Republicans like Paul Ryan and right-wing Neoliberals, like Nancy Pelosi and Jake Tapper will continue to push the 40 year old brainwashing trickle-down Pay Go (pay-as-you-go) austerity LIE on the working class.

Article One, Section Eight of the U.S. constitution mandates that Congress mint (create funds) and tax to provide for the general welfare of society.

This is the real practical application of what a social contract with the American working class could look like in 2018 through 2020, if Article One, Section Eight of our constitution were implemented for good of its citizenry, and not just for the few 1% kleptocrats, oligarchs and war profiteers at the top.

The lesson here is to ONLY VOTE IN MEMBERS OF CONGRESS who are going to pass policy programs like, Single Payer Medicare-for-All or a Federal Job Guarantee program and not just for out-of-control spending programs on our military, only.

There are plenty of federal funds available for the working class, if our representatives in congress only had the bold political will and courage–like FDR did–to step up to the plate and make it happen.

Hi, I'm a conservative. I'm a conservative like my father, and his father, and his father before him. We understand that our party is becoming more and more a relic of the past. We understand our politicians are all people hard to respect that push policies that hurt everyone who isn't one of us. But, please try to keep in mind: our penises are small.

    Very small.

And, in this day an age when we can put a man on the moon or a pair of rockin' tits on the accuser of a SCOTUS nominee, well we have to ask: who is going to put a big fake weiner on me?

Conservatism isn't just a political stance, it's a stance on reality. The reality that having a small penis is a hard life to live. And the only way we can make our own penis hard and our lives a little softer is to pretend Donald Trump is a real, smart, tough man. Because if he can grab a pussy with those tiny hands, then maybe – just maybe – our tiny cocks can crow once more.

If you just say we want to spend more on the military almost every one agrees for some reason. Or if you say let's make sure our 2000$ inflation bonus every year needs to be voted on you will never hear a nay in Congress

Jake tapper I have 40 trillion dollars added up of your costs from my sources how will you pay for it.
Ok the 32 trillion dollar item actually saves us 2 trillion dollars over what we currently pay today so u will subtract 2 trillion dollars from my 40 trillion and exnore the other 32 trillion dollars we already pay for today and make you explain how you will pay for that 32 trillion dollars we already pay for.
That is counting it twice you can't do double entry in book keeping.
40 trillion – 34 trillion equals 6 trillion so in the worse case all she needs to explain away of 6 trillion dollars not 38 trillion that Jake tries to put her on the hook for.

I can't believe he cannot see this he's supposed to be an intelligent person he's just an idiot like all the other ones how are we going to pay for this how about we stop paying for Endless Wars bring our troops home except for the most essential areas that they might happen to be in we do not need a hundred and sixty countries have American bases Russia only has two countries now who is aggressive here we are who's going to be the starters and losers of world war we will. As if World War 3 happens everybody loses, except for the super Elite that have all these underground compounds throughout the United States which they've been building since the 50s and it hasn't slowed or stalled or nothing since then they have like underground cities for the elites and nobody else other than select handful of people that might do maintenance cooking and cleaning that type of stuff but Elites don't do that. They have no idea how to do anything like that so how they call themselves Elite is beyond me when you can't even fix a goddamn bad Plumbing line under your sink or something or possibly figure out that the GFCI trip the circuit and it's not coming back on when you need to check the GFI right next to it too and any others in line. They would end up in darkness until somebody came through and fixed it for them which is pretty sad

Have you seen Richard Wolff's latest release? Federal Reserve keeps stats on unused factories and office space. According to the Federal Reserve we have 22% unused capacity, just setting there. We have 10% of our population who wants a job. When we add 10% to the GDP, that will create 2 trillion dollars a year extra for our social programs. –Check out Richard Wolff's latest release.

You know what she should’ve done the summit up if we’re OK paying benefits for our military personnel now to get the best health care plan that they have and the rest of the benefits that they get that our taxes pay for why can’t we do the same for the rest of the citizens!

    How to pay for it?

Simple, 1st understand this, taxes do not fund government. You must understand this concept before we can discuss anything else.

How to pay medicare for all is very simple: payroll tax just like current medicare. But people wouldn't have to pay private insurance, which is a HUGE expense. Until I'm old enough to qualify for medicare, my insurance costs 1500 per month plus a 10k deductible. Most people who have insurance don't realize how much their insurance really costs b/c their employer pays it — but it's still a hidden cost passed onto them in other ways such as lost jobs, lower wages, and higher prices. The large number of unlucky people without insurance get sick, go bankrupt, or instead go to the ER which is also a huge cost borne by the taxpayer.
