18 Jun Run Multiple Websites From A Single Hosting Plan | Geoff Blake @tentononline
AWFUL – I just can’t believe how awful and challenging this company is to deal with. Please please don’t use them. Steve Soderquist, Mississippi, foundationsbooks.net
In order to run a new site under an existing hosting plan, you’ll first need to register a new domain name. If you haven’t done this yet, and if you’d like a step-by-step guide, check out my video, Easy Steps To Set Up Your Business Website Address Using NameCheap: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G99jeBHL2lM
In this tutorial, I mention seeing the file structure of your website when you connect via FTP. The tutorial that I’m referring to is called Connecting To Your Web Hosting Hub Hosted Website Using FTP, which you can watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pI4fIgv7ALI The process is similar with other web hosts.
Now that you’ve set up a second website under your hosting plan, the next thing you’ll need to do is point your domain to your web hosting account. This process is slightly different depending on which web host you’re using. If you’d like a hand with the process, and you’re using Web Hosting Hub, I’ve gotcha covered right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbcNkPpteW8 Or if you’re using SiteGround, head over here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WTlisBLCUo
