Setting Your DNS Settings in GoDaddy: Pointing to Hostgator or Any Other Host

Run, don’t walk! Choose a different provider. #hostgator is Terrible!!! – Lots of fees. Absolutely no customer service. The worst experience I have ever had in regard to websites. I am cancelling as soon as possible. Ryan

This is part of our ‘Podcasting & Blogging Website Setup’ Course at http://podhost.me/website-yt.

Now that you’ve bought your domain with GoDaddy and setup your Hosting account with Hostgator, you need to point that domain to the hosting account. This is done by setting your DNS settings. This video shows you how to do that in the GoDaddy control panel. I talk about Hostgator hosting here, but it will work for any hosting company for which you have the DNS settings.
