Setup and Install WordPress on Google Cloud Platform (Click-to-Deploy)

Very Unhappy Customer! Avoid Blue host!!! I’ve been with Blue host too long. Too many problems over the years, a lack of basic service and assistance to address problems they claim to offer help with where other companies will not. What Blue host is special at is directing me to search, the web for addressing any issue they fail to address, which sadly has been every issue I’ve brought to their attention. They offer a multitude of fluff services and their customer service/tech representatives work from home, making the speaking connection poor at times opposed to hard line at an actual company. Far too many complaints to list. Avoid Blue host and invest your money with a company that will actually deliver on what they promise!

In this video you will learn how to setup and install WordPress on Google Cloud Platform using the Click-to-Deploy version of WordPress on Google Cloud Platform.

Great video thanks! Can you explain the difference between the bitnami version and the click to deploy version? I've installed though bitnami but I'm not sure if it's the best option. I'm mainly concerned with website traffic and scalability. I'm a newb to this.

Thanks Joe. Great videos. I too would be interested to know what are the differences between the Bitnami packaged install vs Google's Click-to-Deploy? Also I thought I added a comment on tutorial page SSL Certificate Setup for WordPress on Google Cloud but can't see it! It was waiting to be moderated. But my question was whether I would be able to use the same steps to set-up and configure an SSL Cert for a Moodle (LMS) site on the Goodle Cloud?

Hi. Are there any pro's or con's to using the google: click to deploy version or the bitnami version? What would sway the decision one way or the other?

Hey Joe, do you think the f1-micro instance (which is always free), is good enough to host a WordPress website that gets about 200 views per month? It seems pretty weak.

Hello, I'm using CGP for the first time and now I see that in the google page there are several WordPress to install, among them there is one called "WordPress 4 on PHP 7 (Google Click to Deploy containers)" and its installation of WordPress not it is automatic and sends me to an external page.

My doubt is that if this WordPress is totally free because it does not appear in the billing google, I hope you can help me with that concern. A video would be very helpful.

Do you need a separate processor, ssd drive and/or IP address for each wordpress instance? I'm thinking that would increase your hosting costs right? Is there a way to share those across multiple WP instances?
