23 Feb Shockbyte Review – I expected more from them.
NOT UNLIMITED. I just received the mail from #Bluehost >>> It has come to our attention that your site is using an excessive number of files stored on your #bluehost account. This is causing performance problems on your website as well as for other customers that are on this server. It can cause our servers to crash and cause additional downtime. Our reseach shows that server performance degrades when accounts have over 50,000 files. In order to ensure optimal performance for your account and the others in your shared hosting environment, we request that you reduce the number of files on your account to under 50,000 by 06/10/2009. you can set up Only 50000 files!!@@
Updated video coming soon.

Posted at 03:27h, 23 Februaryhorrible service, I could not get the server to work. so I tried cancelling within the allotted time to get a refund. there was no help to get the server to ever work or refund they just keep talking like NPC. I eventually just had to cancel the payments through PayPal, because They kept charging me.

Posted at 12:18h, 28 MarchYou should review Cubes.host, they have largely been upgrading their services, website and support and I think that they will soon grow to be one of the big boys

Posted at 22:48h, 24 MayHello Luke,
I am a Shockbyte Helper in the community discord server. I apologize for the service/support issues you have had with us in the past.
If you wouldn't mind, adding me on discord and we can talk about this in a 1v1, I can also get into contact with the CEO / Managing Director, and get this sorted for you ASAP!
No customer should have to go through this, and I apologize you've had to.
My discord username is "Mashhhyyy#7521"

Posted at 13:44h, 16 Junehow much RAM and mbps do you need for around 7 people?
peeblehost is saying 5gb and 1gbps
would 2g and 250 mbps also do the job?

Posted at 03:10h, 19 JuneIs the service the only thing thats bad? They have a bunch of tutorial videos and the server startup was really easy. I bought the sand plan for 15/quarter and the server runs extremely smooth. The only two problems I see are the pricing (1.50/month more than pebblehost) and the support service.

Posted at 09:46h, 23 Junei purchased a server from them. My server was put on Pending. I asked to the live chat, and they said "wait for 12 hours". Keep in mind, they didn't tell me that i must wait for 12 hours, and my credit card balance has already been taken to them.

Posted at 12:22h, 16 JulyI have had a pretty bad experience with Shockbyte. I have been using them for the past few months and it has gotten worse every month. It started out just fine, I got their cheapest plan because I wanted to just host a private server for friends. At first, the support time was really fast and I was overall happy with how it all worked. But after a few weeks, I started experiencing some lag. At most there were 3 people on the server within a relatively small group of chunks, so I don't understand how lag could be an issue. They recommend 20+ people on the plan I subscribed to, so the fact that I was getting major lag with just 3 was a letdown. I contacted them about it with no response, which leaves me to believe that they really don't care. I'm switching over to PebbleHost today as it is less than half the cost of Shockbyte and they have better quality servers and a better quality support team.
