Would it be a twist if the dark voice took the appearance of tassadar?

may he find peace with the khala, I've noticed many have reprised their roles from the first Starcraft, only Kerrigan's original didn't and Zeratul's passed away

could it be possible that Adun himself is alive, and somewhat still around the universe.
could he be some protoss like Amon or someone we dont know yet.

Is this what SC2 story amounts to? Really? This bloated bubble of meaningless phrases is a blasphemy. Where are the original writers?

Zeratul: So… All afford we put in defance of Auir is all lies?
Tassadar: Yeap, Blizzard said also something about shining vampires in Third Expansion.
Z: How could it be? They bring us dark mood Diablo and very serious First Starcraft.
T: And they bring also Kamehameha in Heart of the Swarm.

Dammit! They ruin the entire impact the original had! Tassadar sacrificed himself to slay the overmind! The mere fact that he is there, speaking to the overmind … this really ruins the impact.

Wait, he died in the original Star Craft, risking his life for his friends and their home world.
Probably alive due to Nano machines, son.

Melodramatic, full of clichés. Has neither the charm, nor the quality of the original. Can't even give a good impression of Tassadar's voice…search for Tractor Media's "Starcraft First Contact" video if you want quality. And canon.

SC1: Sacrifice himself and risk his allies' lives to destroy Overmind.
    SC2: Overmind ain't that evil.

I've never played Sc1 or Sc2, I'm an ex WoW nerd, but it looks like Tassadar died, so why wouldn't his voice be different? Also it looks pretty badass

The best is how Blizzard said the Tassadar story arc would be wrapped up and explained in Legacy of the Void.

The ending to this arc you ask?

It wasn't Tassadar, it was an alien fooling Zeratul by impersonating Tassadar so Zeratul would listen to him.

    Starcraft 3 confirmed.
Tassadar: I have never tasted death, Zeratul, nor shall I. But that is a tale for another time… […]

For those who still dont know: This Tassadar is a Fake, a Xel Naga is using his image to guide Zeratul, because this is the only way Zeratul will listen. or thats what the Xel Naga explains later… Yeah, Tass died long ago and no more of him, just a Cthulu using his image to control people!

Look like every Starcraft fan is taking the "don't think, just get angry" path, so let me think for you. TASSADAR IS DEAD. He is a ghost in the afterlife talking to Zeratul through Protoss magic thing. If Tassadar actually survived, then why didn't he help Artanis in legacy of the void, oh yeah, that's right, because Tassadar is in a different dimension, he can't do anything. I know what you're replying, "but he said that he never tasted death". Well he also said that he never will. Meaning a sun goddess Kerrigan's kamahamaha can't even kill him, why? Because Tassadar is a ghost, and you can't kill ghost because there already dead. So if ghost are already dead, and Tassadar is a ghost, then that means Tassadar is already dead, because he sacrificed himself to slay the Overmind.

Jesus Christ! All these idiots complaining about the story making no sense, yet they’re the ones who can’t even be bothered listening to the exposition spoonfed in their faces and take absolutely everything at LESS THAN FACE VALUE!
    “buuuuh, the Overmind was nice!”
No, it was a horrific monster, but it was made that way by an evil xel naga to further its own goals, and it knew it’d be cast aside as soon as it stopped being useful. It screamed and raged trying to escape this fate, but it could not tear itself from its directive in order to save itself and the zerg from extinction. So it made Kerrigan to try and stop the hybrid from enslaving the zerg and later killing them. It did monstrous things because like the zerg it controlled, it was also a slave.
“Buhhh, why is Tassadar alive? Fuck you Blizzard.”
Something should have tipped you off when his supposed spirit (which is unheard of) conveniently dodged the question of was speaking to Zeratul, and then later games showed that this was not him, but a Xel Naga taking the shape of someone Zeratul trusted in order to nudge him in the right direction.
The plot of Starcraft has always been the same, warring factions and races scheming and figthting each other for survival. But when the teased Xel Naga get involved the story suddenly sucks because they apparently lost some complexity? The only thing different about these games is the tone, nothing more. If you’ll please lecture me about the “genius”of SC1’s story compared to SC2, please, I’d love to hear an intelligent response.
