True Cost Of 2021 Tesla Model 3

Highly disappointed. I have moved from Godaddy to #bluehost 3 years ago on basis of bigger space and 99.9% uptime. Today my hosting company is not the same. I have developed business and hosted many websites of my customers; all are down much too often and too long each time. To move all my websites (20) to a new hosting company will be a challenge. I will have to hassle to keep my customers. They (Blue Host) should pay me for the loses and false promises. I am wandering if I can sue them.

Compared to Toronto, your gas is about the same when factoring FX. However our electricity is only 10.1 cents per kWh or about 7.48 cents USD. So that makes our gas savings pretty good up here. Now if we could just get rid of winter then EVs would be far more efficient

I ordered a Model Y 7 seater on 2/20. Got the VIN email on 3/25. Now have my order on hold waiting for more info on a possible tax credit. Hope something happens soon. The possibility of $7-$10k off is too much to pass up.

Just as another point of comparison, our Prius Prime plug-in hybrid in Austin TX drives about 40% cheaper per mile on electric than on gas. It gets about 4.6 miles/KWh on electric and about 55MPG on gas. As you pointed out, both gas and home electricity are cheaper here than in LA (for now anyway!).

I pay $8.80 for 310 miles here in Texas so you can really see the savings.

3:42 – I paid less than that for a used Silver Performance Model 3 with FSD after scouring the used listings for about a year. The used market is an excellent option and because the vehicles upgrade OTA it doesn't feel dated compared to a 2021 model (aside from minor change)

Why not wait until Green Act passes? It seems likely this will become law since Biden supports it. Although, Tesla will probably raise the the prices on the cars across the board if & when this happens.

Tesla just secretly raised modely Y prices $500 ; Separately, re-defines "the $100 non-refundable deposit" as now a "$100 Order Fee"??? Could you please discuss these questionable changes on your channel?

Wish it was that cheap in the UK 🇬🇧, cheapest model is approximately $56,000, but it could be worse some Asian markets are 60% tax. And you don’t want to know how much fuel cost in the UK compare to California.( well over 2x)… that said your insurance in California is massively more than the UK 🇬🇧 ( appox 4x) at least.

Tesla might not have the best fit and finish but beacause they’re a first principles company, they focus on delivering a product that eliminates problems of servicing, maintenance and non-sustainability.(surprising for an American company since the American business model it to have you keep coming back)
This is a very rare departure from the legacy auto’s sole focus on aesthetics, failing to match Tesla in any of the above categories.

Ryan, you suggested that car registration would be less if you buy without FSD and then add it later. That makes a lot of sense, unless the price goes up again… I also expect that the FSD subscription could wind up higher than we think.

Thanks for another interesting and informative video. Just as a comparison, here in Sweden I pay $6,50 for a gallon of diesel, petrol a little less. And 18,5 cents/kwh so that is more like yours. But it also means that when I can afford a Tesla my savings will be huge, especially during summer w our solar panels.

@14:23 $660 monthly for the cheapest Tesla with close to 10k down that’s close to 60k for the cheapest Tesla, assuming you’re doing a 72 month contract. Are those numbers right? Or am I missing something.

Would it make sense to get a model 3 if I don't have reliable free home charging available? I would have to rely on public charging or super chargers. I would assume it's still cheaper than gas but would become somewhat of a nuisance relying on public charging only.

Does anyone have experience purchasing an EV without access of home charging?
