WAS IT WORTH IT? Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tour

Stefan , Australia – Started good, but now they’re in the gutter – Today 6 hours and counting with tech support. Everyone gives you a different reason of issue. Chat support attend a million people at a time and they leave me waiting too long. Then I get a reply meant for someone else. Pathetic. Will start looking for a mother host today.

I visited the home of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club for their epic stadium tour.

Their brand new stadium replaced White Hart Lane a few years ago and cost them over £1b! When I went, the NFL branding was up and ready for the American football as the Miami Dolphins take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

From the changing rooms to Spurs’ UEFA Cup trophies, this is one impressive stadium tour!!!

There are other touches from old stadium, the cockerel above the south stand is an exact replica of the old 1 above white hart lane, in the south stand the old centre spot is marked as well as the old corner flag in the south west corner

Heres my favourite thing about this stadium. Back in the Early 90s paul Gascoigne was mucking about with an air rifle at WHL and shot the Cockerell above the stand, denting it. The new Cockerell at the new Stadium has kept the same dent in it.

Tottenham are my 3rd Favourite club in the premier league. Everton 2nd favourite, wolves 4th favourite club and West Ham 5th favourite club. I hate Arsenal

To your comment of Arsenal being far away from the pitch, I disagree. North Bank and Clock End are always rocking thanks to supporters being close to the pitch compared to Wembley and West Ham stadium.

i think harry redknapp turned spurs around he brought in so many class players, he never gets much credit though, probably bcos hes a cockney called Harry not a spaniard called Bepe

Doesn't have the feel of a football club ,more like a swimming pool or gym.

Spurs did what we did. Built a beautiful, luxurious, modern stadium. But stadiums are for hosting football matches, it’s not a cinema. (But the difference is that Arsenal left glory behind at Highbury while Spurs left vibes)

It looks more like an NFL stadium tbh than a Football ground….

Class stadium. Like a top of the range American stadium. Who ever in England who gets the next big stadium after Tottenham will be getting something unreal

Expect some crushing at Half Time the concourses are far too small. That’s not a Trophy Room it’s a shelf.

I really don’t know why people keep trotting out the same old tired lazy bs about the stadium costing’ a billion pounds’ it didn’t. It was considerably less. It was roughly a billion DOLLARS not pounds. Big difference.

As with all new stadiums it looks impressive at the moment. In 5-10 years it will start to look at bit shabby and will only deteriorate from there. I prefer the old school traditional grounds that are renovated over the years. Something special about players hundreds of years ago scoring goals on the same pitch as the stars of today. Maybe that's just me…embarrassing trophy display. Also a billion pounds and the stands are not symmetrical? No amount of money can buy a more extensive history.
