I got hit with a company grade while on deployment to Iraq. Wanna talk about fun. Nothing like filling sandbags for 4 hours every day for 30 days.

Another question what if the death t maybe is less direct like a grandparent, aunt or uncle, BUT for whatever reason that person had custody of the soldier as a child or lived with them for a number of years would that be treated the same? Even though the DNA would show that the person was not a first degree relative?

Great info chris. Question: do units ever put a limit to how much emergency leave someone can take? I had a solider back at my unit who took emergency leave FOUR times in less than a year. One reason was because he told us that his fiancΓ© had died but as soon as he came back he tried to hook up with a local girl so we suspected he was just lying and asking his family to contact the Red Cross in order for him to take a vacation whenever he wanted. Would a unit try to verify the reasons for all these emergencies? Would they even care? Or do you think at some point they’re just going to catch on and deny anymore emergency leave? Rock on! 🀘

I've never personally known anyone to be delayed for deployment or sent back for the birth. Every unit I was in over 20 years, even if their wife was due within days of deployment, they shipped out with us. My Fire Team SGT. missed the birth of his 1st child. This was back in the 1980's. It was a different Army back then. RANGERS LEAD THE WAY πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Dude you make good videos but do you realize how annoying it when you repeat things two and three times?
