Where to Start a Blog [7 Web Hosting Platforms Review]

AWFUL – I just can’t believe how awful and challenging this company is to deal with. Please please don’t use them. Steve Soderquist, Mississippi, foundationsbooks.net

Choosing web hosting for a blog has never been easier. I’ve used five web hosts to start and grow my blogs for more than five years. Not only will I show you where to start a blog but I’ll reveal the best web hosting for different types of blogs and compare each.

The fact is that not all blog platforms are created equal. Some are better than others for blogs versus ecommerce sites. Some offer better customer service while others are great for beginner bloggers. In this web hosting comparison, I’ll review the web hosts I’ve used including Bluehost, GoDaddy, HostGator, SiteGround and Big Scoots.

I start all my new blogs on Bluehost and have set up a special deal for new bloggers. Get your blog started in less than 5 minutes for just $2.99 a month with this link. https://myworkfromhomemoney.com/bluehost

I’ll start off with how to choose web hosting and why it’s so important you use the best platform for your blog. I tried bluehost with WordPress. I don't know if it's my linux OS or if it's me, but I could not successfully install any of the apps I needed to get started. And there was no help available. 🙁

I don’t really like considering starting a blog as a way of generating income. Someone should start a blog because they have good ideas, knowledge, etc. to share, not just because they want to make a few extra bucks.
