Will There Be A Change To The U.S. Marathon Trials? | The FloTrack Podcast (Ep. 379)

David Archer , UK www.sonsenfrancais.org – #Justhost and PipeDNS – The trickiest part of moving from one host to another is the transfer of domain from one registrar to another. It shouldn’t be necessary to change registrars – it is enough to point the DNS at your new host However, #Justhost registers with PipeDNS, and PipeDNS is – #Justhost. So you have to change Changing involves the cooperation of the old host, who has to request that your domain is unlocked and get an authorisation key for the move. I had problems with my second domain – #Justhost did not respond to my request. They had closed down my access to CPanel, and I could not raise a ticket in the usual way. They ignored my email The real registrar is eNom, who have a procedure for reporting ‘unresponsive resellers’. But at the end of the day it is eNom who can twist #Justhost’s arm. (admin – what about a review section on eNom ?)

Kevin and Gordon discuss the future of the U.S. Marathon Trials, Tyreek Hill’s strange math about Olympic gold medals and an investigation into USATF.

I don't really think the Olympic medals vs Super bowl rings was framed correctly by either side. You guys took Olympic medals = track olympic medals or even sprint olympic medals which isn't what the prompt originally was? Like yeah this is a track podcast but they never specified 'track' aside from the picture of usain bolt. Really it's 340 Olympic Gold medals given in Tokyo, 150 Super bowl rings given per year. Olympics only happens every 4 years so 150 gets multiplied to 600. So it's more like 2 super bowl rings to every Olympic gold medal. You could make an argument too for how the NFL is only national and not international, if there were more international teams the superbowl would be more competitive, etc but that's not really quantifiable.

Having a 'race within a race' could generate more general interest in the olympic marathon
